More great news about faculty and student achievements!

Happy July!

We have just heard that Dr. Richard Scotch will receive the first Distinguished Contributions to the Field Award on Disability and Society from the American Sociological Association.  Congratulations to Dr. Scotch for the recognition of his achievement from his peers!

IPE sophomore Addison Larson received a Critical Language Scholarship to study Arabic in Oman!  She is continuing our tradition of earning half of the Critical Language Scholarships awarded to students at UTD.  Good job, Addison!

MS IPE Student Nancy Bellino was also awarded an internship with the Department of State!  She will follow Dan Hinson (MPP) who also was awarded the internship last fall.

Good job everyone!

Cheers-
